Bank of Ceylon (BOC) has joined hands with the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) to introduce the BOC Multi-Currency Travel Card, free of charge for SLIM members who travel frequently for professional and personal engagements. The partnership was officially announced at the World Marketing Forum 2025 on 14th of November, held at the Mount Lavinia Hotel, marking a progressive step in empowering Sri Lanka’s marketing fraternity with smarter, safer travel solutions.

Designed to offer unmatched convenience and security, the BOC Multi-Currency Travel Card enables users to load up to five international currencies, ensuring smooth financial transactions across borders. The card is further enhanced with a backup card facility, guaranteeing uninterrupted access during travel, and includes complimentary travel insurance coverage of up to USD 250,000, strengthening its value proposition for frequent travellers.

At the official handover ceremony Mr. Kavinda de Zoysa Chairman of Bank of Ceylon together with Mr. Y. A. Jayathilake Acting General Manager/CEO, Mr. G. A. Jayashantha DGM  International Treasury & Investment and Mrs. Rasika de Silva Chief Manager International Division presented the symbolic card to Prof. Jayantha N. Dewasiri, President of SLIM.
