The Bank of Ceylon (BOC) marks International Women’s Day 2025 with a special savings offer designed exclusively for women, strengthening financial security and long-term independence.

The United Nations’ theme for International Women’s Day 2025 – “For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment” aligns with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5, which aims to achieve gender equality by 2030. 

Kantha Ran Ginum SmartGen – Designed for women’s financial growth

Since its introduction in 1992, the Kantha Ran Ginum savings scheme has helped thousands of women secure their financial future. Over the years, this account has grown to match changing economic conditions and customer needs. Now available in a digital format as "Kantha Ran Ginum SmartGen", this account provides attractive interest rates and added benefits to help women save and plan for their future.

The Kantha Ran Ginum Savings Certificates are available in denominations of Rs. 25,000, Rs. 50,000, Rs. 100,000, Rs. 250,000, and Rs. 500,000, offering high returns along with several additional advantages
