Special loan scheme for sustainable energy and eco-friendly products

In support of sustainable energy and eco-friendly products, Bank of Ceylon introduces a special loan scheme for the purchase of solar power systems, biogas units and, electric cycles and motorcycles.

To Purchase Solar Power Systems  

• Maximum loan amount
  For Residential - 75% of total cost or Rs. 3.0 Mn., whichever is less
  For Commercial - 75% of total cost or Rs. 10.0 Mn., whichever is less
• Maximum repayment period:  7 years

To purchase Hybrid Invertor & Battery 

• Maximum loan amount
  For Residential - 75% of total cost or Rs. 1.5 Mn., whichever is less
  For Commercial - credit facilities could be considered subject to a maximum of 75% of the total cost
• Maximum repayment period : 5 years

To Purchase Electric Bicycles         

• Maximum loan amount
  70% of total cost or Rs. 400,000/- whichever is less
• Maximum repayment period: 2 years

To Purchase Electric Motor Bicycles          

• Maximum loan amount
  70% of total cost or Rs. 1,000,000/- whichever is less
• Maximum Repayment Period: 5 years

To Install a Bio Gas Unit      

• Maximum Loan amount
  For Residential - 75% of total cost or Rs. 150,000/- whichever is less
  For Commercial - Credit facilities could be considered subject to a maximum of 75% of the total cost
• Maximum Repayment Period: 2 years

Eligibility

Any individual resident in Sri Lanka and businesses duly registered in Sri Lanka, with a proven income/repayment capacity and capable to fulfill other legal and regulatory requirements.
