The Bank of Ceylon (BOC) proudly announces the successful conclusion of its annual Vesak devotional song series, "Muniguna Waruna," organised by the United Buddhist Association of the Bank of Ceylon. The event took place at the Bank of Ceylon head office, bringing together a vibrant community to celebrate and honour the spirit of Vesak.
The event was graced by the presence of the Chairman of the Bank of Ceylon, the Board of Directors, the General Manager, corporate and executive management, staff members and many esteemed retired employees. Their participation added a layer of reverence and unity to the occasion.
"Muniguna Waruna" featured performances by two teams: one comprising current BOC staff members and another representing retired employees. Under the expert musical direction of veteran musician Mr. Nalaka Anjana Kumara, both teams delivered soulful renditions that resonated with the audience. The programme uniquely blended popular Buddhist devotional songs with new Vesak devotional compositions created by the talented staff members of the Bank of Ceylon.
