Sri Lankan expatriates abroad & migrant workers who are registered with the Foreign Employment Bureau are eligible to open this account.

Valid passport and a letter issued by Foreign Employment Bureau at the registration is required.

The initial deposit of Rs.200/- will be gifted by the bank at the opening of the account.

This account can be opened at any branch of BOC network or at the counter of Bandaranaike International Airport prior to departure.

Rate of Interest – 0.5% above the listed rate of normal savings account.
A person can also be nominated to disburse the balance at the death of the account holder.
