18+ is a unique savings account specially designed for the Youth between 18 to 35 years of age with a wide range of very attractive benefits.  The account could be opened in the age group of 18 to 25 years and it can be maintained upto 35 years of age to reap the following benefits.  The minimum initial deposit is Rs. 200/-.

Benefits

• Life insurance cover upto a maximum of Rs. 500,000/- or 10 times the balance of the account.  At least a minimum balance of Rs. 5000/- for a continuous period of six months prior to death/permanent disability should be maintained.

• Special insurance cover for partial disability and illness too.

• A gold coin will be gifted at the wedding (minimum balance of Rs. 50,000./- for a period of twelve months to be maintained prior to the wedding day).

• A Ran Kekulu Savings Account will be gifted to the first child.

• A Visa Electron Card will be issued free of charge.

• A Credit Card can be obtained.

• A special interest rate higher than the normal savings rate payable.

• A Scholarship worth of Rs. 30,000/- for higher studies

Those maintaining a minimum balance of Rs. 5,000/- during a calendar year, (January to December) the year that they sat for the G CE (A/L) will be entitled to enter the draw for educational scholarships for higher studies.
